Habitat for Humanity's Merrimack Valley ReStore Now Open!

Looking to donate?  With spring cleaning season quickly approaching, think re-use and recycle by donating home improvement and home furnishing items in good condition to ReStore!  MVHH is looking for ongoing support from the greater community – from contractors, builders, demolition companies, retailers, and homeowners.  For a specific list of desired items and details of the grand opening program, please go to www.mvrestore.org.

Why donate to ReStore?

1.     Promote a greener environment by encouraging reusing and recycling!

2.     No disposal fees!

3.     Tax deductable benefit for you or your client!

4.     Help others!

Looking to shop?  The ReStore is open Thursday through Saturday.  Come to look for a wide variety of new and gently used materials and home improvement supplies ranging from doors and windows to kitchen cabinets, lighting fixtures and countertops to stud-finders and drawer-pulls - all at greatly reduced prices!

“The Merrimack Valley Habitat ReStore has something for everyone – it’s a win-win situation for all involved.  And, ultimately, it not only embraces the concept of reduce-reuse-recycle, but will provide more homes for families in need.â€?  Ken LaRose, President of MVHH Board of Directors, Owner of Andover Equity Builders, Inc.

About Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity

Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to building homes and building hope in the Merrimack Valley.  Founded in 1985 by concerned local citizens who came together as volunteers, we have delivered on our mission for 71 families to date.   We are an independent, local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, the largest non-profit homebuilder in the world with a network of over 2,100 affiliates. Working in partnership with families in need, volunteers, churches, local government and businesses, we build simple, affordable, comfortable homes that are then sold to the families at cost with a no-interest mortgage.  This partnership makes it possible for families who could not otherwise afford to buy a home realize the dream of homeownership.  Every weekend and throughout the week, volunteers help the American Dream come alive in our local community by volunteering their time and donating supplies. To donate, volunteer or learn more about us, please visit our website at www.merrimackvalleyhabitat.org
