How to decorate with plaid

Incorporating plaid into your home's décor will always make a statement. Whether your style is downtown chic or country rustic, plaid prints will never disappoint. Here’s a look at different styles that’ll be sure to make you mad for plaid!

For the Country Home...

Plaid can be used as exciting accent pieces throughout a home. In this country house bedroom designed by Patrick Ahearn Architect, a soft yellow and white plaid fabric is used as a round table skirt and as accent pillows. The color tones nicely complement the floral furniture, drapery and walls.

Don’t be afraid to use the same fabric throughout the home and play with different patterns. The same fabric used in the bedroom is repeated on the bathroom curtains, and works beautifully with the wallpapering - showing multiple ways plaid can tastefully mix with different designs.

A country home would be nothing without rustic elements - just in time for the fall, too! In the Libeco Home Surry Hills Napkins and Tablerunner from Didrik's, plaid gets a rustic makeover with faded orange and blue tones instead of its traditional vibrant hues. The result is a cozy and chic feel.

Available as table runners, napkins and table cloths, you can be all set for the season with these table accessories.
