Kimberly Turner

Kim is passionate about the experience of landscape and how memory can shape landscape preferences. She feels strongly about the restorative effects of the landscape and their importance in our everyday life.  With over 15 years in the profession, Kim brings extensive experience and talent to her projects.  She has a background in both horticulture and landscape architecture, is the author of Botany for Designers (WWNorton), and received an ASLA honor award for her graduate work.  Because of her reputation and experience, she is able to leverage her trade relationships to streamline the process and execute the most successful projects she can.

KDTurner Design is a landscape architectural firm specializing in residential landscapes throughout the northeast. Kim is a talented designer who finds joy in collaborating with her clients and design team in order to generate meaningful and individualized designs. “Understanding client, site, and natural processes is paradigm,” says Kim, “when the design connects environment, architecture and client personality, that’s when the magic happens; it becomes a positive experience for everyone.”
