Newport Secret Garden Tour, June 14-16

Newport, Rhode Island, is known as one of the Northeast’s best walking cities, and its Newport Secret Garden Tour is a seasonal highlight. This annual, self-guided walking tour June 14-16 takes garden enthusiasts through the private oases of Newport’s historic Point section, which is known for its classic architecture and old-world sensibility.

Featured in June’s Fine Gardening magazine, tour goers will stroll through more than a dozen delightful personal oases in some of Newport’s most prestigious homes, which have been opened up to the community to help raise funds for arts and cultural programs in Rhode Island’s public schools. The tour begins at Storer Park near the causeway to Goat Island.
