Il Décor Misha Lenn

A master  of watercolor and other mediums, Misha Lenn has lived and worked in Boston for the past three decades. His works have been exhibited by cultural institutions around the world, including the Bolshoi Theater, the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Society, Harvard University, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Lenn’s artwork is notable for his ability to capture motion in the sweep of his paintbrush. Lenn has created collections around the movement of dance and nature, the rhythm of cities and sports, the beauty inherent to music and fashion. His adherence to having art follow life borrows from the tradition of the Impressionist painters, with elements of Degas and Renoir slyly adding to his work.

Collections of Misha Lenn’s work have been featured in the Louvre and at Cannes; his talents have led him to venues as varied as the Kentucky Derby and the Kremlin. In 2005, Lenn won the Muse Award for Best Watercolor Artist of America, and in 2012 he was the official artist of the Boston Marathon.
