Barbara Smith McLaughlin – Jewelry Making Demonstration

Barbara Smith McLaughlin is a Southern New Hampshire jewelry artist who will be demonstrating various techniques for texturing her work, such as roller printing. She will demonstrate torchwork on the front porch of the Snowflake Inn, weather permitting. Barbara describers her work as “bold geometric shapes, various metal textures and loads of color are how I convey my passion. A lot of thought, time and patience have been blended into each piece, creating an heirloom to be treasured for generations.”

Linda Peduzzi is an Eastern Connecticut artist who will be making her first visit to The Cassidy Gallery to discuss her work and process. This new work has not yet been exhibited anywhere. Linda describes her process as, “Expressing myself intuitively, each piece leads to an exploration of dreams, desire and imagination, through creating eye-catching color combinations and textured surfaces. Most of my work is inspired by both the intensity and quiet beauty of nature.”

Sean Stull is a Conway artist who will be discussing his work in oils and soft pastel. Sean states. “…The driving force of my work comes from my firm and deeply rooted belief that nature is vibrant, alive, and profound.”
