This October, join Dover Rug & Home for two special events in their new Boston showroom at 390 Stuart St. 

Beyond the Canvas: Inspired Ideas from Floors to Walls

Mahmud Jafri, CEO of Dover Rug & Home, will collaborate with Connie Kolman of Kolman Artisan Glass in a demonstration that illustrates how to push the limits of decorating with high-end rugs and art. The experts will discuss color, design, and materials. Guests will learn how to pair unique glass and rug pieces to move beyond the canvas, and turn an entire room ensemble into a piece of art in and of itself. At the end of the presentation, a special glass piece and one-of-a-kind rug will be unveiled. 

10% of sales made on this day will benefit Gateway for the Arts, a non-profit that provides professional development to adults with disabilities who have artistic talents.

Finishing Touches: How to Take Your Project from Good to Exceptional

Guests will learn the importance of subtle flair, and how to bring colors, lighting, and texture to a room, house, or landscape. The focus will be on how to pull together all of these elements for a result that is streamlined and stylish. Speakers joining Mr. Jafri include Stephanie Vanderbilt of Coastal Windows & Exteriors, Gary Streck of CRM, Inc., and Carol March of Helios Design Group.
