George Washington's estate

Happy President's Day! In honor of this day, let's take a look at the historic home of George Washington.

George Washington's Mount Vernon home is a historic estate in America. The estate, gardens and farm totaled about 8,000 acres in the 18th century.

After Washington acquired Mount Vernon in 1754, he expanded his home to reflect his gentleman status. Washington was involved in every precess of the estate, including the design, construction and decoration.
