Seen & Inspired: Emerging Artists Show Reception

The Emerging Artists Show Reception at Three Stones Gallery in West Concord was celebrated on Saturday, January 21.
The show will be open through March 10.

The gallery had a great turnout to present the Best In Show winners announced by Betsy Yamron, owner of Albright Art Supply & Gift in Concord and Jennifer Montgomery Johnston, owner of Three Stones Gallery (pictured above).

FIRST - "Tidal Creek" by Cathy Garnett, Acrylic on Panel
"An arresting blend of the initally abstract, then to the objective image. The first attraction was to texture, then to the movement of color and the spontaneous mood. A commendable achievement."

SECOND - "Copper Pot & Clementines" by Viju Meweda, Oil
"Great use of light. A distinctive nod to still life's of the Old Masters."

THIRD - "Woman in Blue Robe" by Alet Zielhuis, Oil
"Stunning. Startling. Excellent use of color and view to capture the subject."
