It's the time of year when people have taken planes, trains and automobiles for the opportunity to gather around the tables of family and friends and share a delicious meal and bright conversation. These days, it seems harder to stop the breakneck speed of the daily race to just be. This is one of the reasons we love Thanksgiving. It's a time of gratitude, of course, but it also seems to come with a slower pace, at least for one day. With its slow-cooked meal, winding parades and lack of gift-swapping—and let's not forget the football games—Thanksgiving is all about shared time. It's in this spirit that we bring you some of the most tempting tables we've encountered this year. It's where it all happens....
