Ever since BDG ran a “Successful Women in Building” feature two years ago and dubbed Eleni Kaplan of E.K. Sanford Builders one to watch, we’ve been tracking her career and progress in a highly competitive field.

In just two years, she’s completed a spec home in Sudbury, a custom build in Sudbury, numerous bathroom and kitchen remodels, and her newest project—a sunny, stunning new construction in Weston that falls somewhere in between—a turnkey home with all of the custom, high-end features homeowners today are seeking.

“It’s a beautiful house with a lot of details and curves everywhere,” says Eleni, laden with finishes that homeowners would have chosen themselves had they been in on the construction process.

The home is graced with elements Eleni has admired over the years when working alongside her father Marc Kaplan of Sanford Custom Builders, as well as features sure to appeal to buyers—picture windows throughout, a tranquil master bath and a showcase kitchen with two islands and a secret pantry.
