On Friday, we celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams at their Boston store located at 142 Berkeley Street. In 1989, Mitchell Gold and his partner, Bob Williams, created The Mitchell Gold Company starting with dining chairs. Since then, they’ve grown significantly with furniture lines, store locations, annual revenue and employment.

Aside from their comfortable and elegant style, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams success also can be attributed to their employees happiness. Their North Carolina factory is notable for their generous employee perks, which includes a day care center, dry cleaning, convenience store, and more.

Their anniversary party on Friday had a great turnout and benefited the Pine Street Inn. The Pine Street Inn has a mission to end homeless and is New England’s leading provider of housing, shelter, street outreach and job training to the homeless.
