HGTV is giving away a luxury condo located on the 24th floor of the Residences at the W in Boston this fall. The fully furnished one-bedroom condominium is 1,000-square-feet and includes 1 ½ baths, European-style kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Lindsay Pumpa is the lead interior designer on the project. Lindsay designed the apartment to be both modern and traditional, while complementing the stunning views. The condo overlooks the Charles River, State House, Boston Common, and Public Garden.
Pumpa also wanted to incorporate unique Boston touches to the condo’s décor. Pumpa has partnered with Boston Design Guide’s Restoration Resources and Webster & Company for home accessories and furnishings. Restoration Resources’ showroom and warehouse in Boston's South End carries vintage treasures, unique artifacts and design elements – perfect to add character and charm to the modern design scheme in the condo.
The kitchen includes a 7’10” long by 4’11” wide granite topped island, custom-built fireplace, and artwork by Boston painter and printmaker John Thompson.
The bedroom has modern industrial features and a neutral color palette. The queen-size bed has an upholstered headboard that expands to the walls, creating a larger bed appearance.
Other notable features in the condo include: bathroom chandeliers, a car, high-quality appliances, salvaged doorknobs, and a vintage soda bottle collection.
On August 26th, entries to win will start to be accepted on the HGTV website. Good luck!!
