Interior Design by E.A. Davis
Debra Worthington, a contract designer with E.A. Davis Shop shares her simple yet effective tips for transitioning every room in your home from summer to fall.
Now that temperatures will be dropping, friend and family gatherings will be brought inside to the living room and family room.
Fall throws from E.A. Davis
An easy way to update this space is to invest in some jewel-tone afghans, throws and pillows. As the warmer days cool to welcome crisp mornings, you'll want something beautiful to cut the chill.
Update your table centerpieces with floral arrangements in warm autumn tones like orange, yellow, or deep red. We love the combination (above) of the daylilies and crab apple tree branches. The result is a rustic, warm arrangement perfect for the fall season.
Custom upholstery by E.A. Davis
If your furniture is feeling dated, reupholster your sofa or an accent chair in a neutral shade, cozy chenille, or dark linen blend. E.A. Davis offers custom upholstery and thousands of stunning fabric options. Investing in unique chairs with hip fabric is an instant update for your space - it's like adding red lipstick!
In the kitchen, go with a rustic set of dishware in taupe, grey, or ivory tones. These look great with the menu of the season, namely football chili and soups.
Finally, if you're looking to make a bold statement, try a richly hued wallpaper. We love the two below (and their cool metallic sheen)!
