Longfellow Design Build expands its reach.
With a ribbon cutting by the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce, Cape Cod architect and builder Longfellow Design Build recently opened a new office and design showroom on Rt. 6A in the Sandwich historic district.
"We've seen a significant increase in business in the area," said Mark Bogosian, Longfellow Design Build's owner. "Our clients often meet with architects and designers multiple times throughout the course of a project, so we wanted to provide homeowners on Boston's South Shore and the Upper Cape towns of Bourne, Sandwich, and Mashpee a more convenient experience."
Showcasing new kitchen and home-office designs by Longfellow's senior designer, Mark Barr, the new Sandwich location features some of Barr's latest work showing a bit more color. "Kitchen design on the Cape continues to trend from all-white to the use of bolder blue and green accents,'' says Barr. "The new showroom reflects this trend for color and also shows off some of our award-winning custom cabinetry, built-ins, and millwork."
While spending more time social distancing at home this past year, many homeowners took on projects they had previously put off. Others are living differently by adding more space, home offices, and outdoor living areas. To meet the demand, Longfellow has also hired additional staff. "This showroom gives us space to provide more for our customers," says Bogosian.
Longfellow now has three design showrooms in Falmouth, Osterville, and Sandwich, with the fourth opening late summer as their Chatham showroom re-opens in a larger space on Rt 28 in Harwich Port.
