This classic New England home is located in Concord, Massachusetts. The home has intricate architectural details designed by John Chapman Architect and built by Affinity Builders. To complement the architecture and home’s design, neutral colors of black, white and grey were used along with simple landscape in the front of the home.
Landscape architecture by Michael Wasser Associates achieved a dialogue between architecture and the surrounding landscape by protecting a large existing oak tree during the construction phase. The large oak tree provides scale for the home and helps nestle the home into the property. Before the new home was built, an old farmhouse had to be taken down. From that, they were able to reuse granite steps and granite paving that was salvaged during the construction.
Inside, the home has stunning custom cabinetry and architectural millwork by Walter Lane Cabinetmaker. Their high level of quality handcrafted products and unique designs really make the kitchen in particular stand out.
